Your First Day
What to expect from your first class
Pura Vida Languages takes a flexible, adaptive grammar and syntax focused approach to language learning. The way that your classes are conducted from day to day will be based largely on your learning style, your experience, and your unique language needs.
- Casual, comfortable outdoor classroom
- Quiet area of town, right next to the beach
- Simple, straightforward lessons in a relaxed environment
Your first class will consist of evaluating your existing knowledge of the language and getting a feel for what you hope to accomplish fastest with your classes. For beginners, basic verb conjugation and personal needs oriented vocabulary tend to come first. While class structure varies from student to student, most classes tend to begin with homework review, move into speaking and pronunciation practice, and end with covering new materials and assigning homework.
